WINS appointed Yann Dufour as company Chief Technical Officer beginning September 16, 2024. WINS Chairman and CEO Atle Hjertenæs said, “Yann is a top expert in the field of high temperature, high reliability electronics for downhole environments. Yann will deepen the experience of our technical team, helping them to build world-class products for the oil and gas industry.” Yann holds a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering from CentraleSupélec in Paris, France and has 17 years of product development experience working for SLB in Paris and Houston. Yann remarked, “I am excited to join WINS and to relocate to Trondheim, Norway. WINS has made great strides with their wireless telemetry and downhole power generation to push forward the business of brownfield rigless intervention. Wimo and TRICS are exciting new products that offer new choices for operators to improve their production without a rig.” Yann is married with two children, 8 and 6. WINS welcomes them on their new journey in Norway.
