Torgeir holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from NTNU in Trondheim, Norway, and has 15 years of R&D experience in the oil and gas industry. He had leadership roles at Schlumberger in the US and UK, and was Lead R&D Engineer at Interwell P&A. His work has spanned MWD & RSS downhole tools and thermite pyrotechnic systems.

Torgeir is married and has one 2 year old child. He is an avid traveler and outdoor enthusiast who has visited over 60 countries. He enjoys scuba diving, skiing, and has various mechanical projects in his garage. WINS welcomes him on this exciting new chapter.
