Management Team

Atle founded WINS in 2009 and is the CEO. He has a PhD degree in Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has founded several high-tech companies over his 30 years of experience. Atle has also been working as Professor II at Narvik University College lecturing in International Business.

Torgeir joined WINS in 2025 and is CTO in charge of technology development, production, and operations. He holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from NTNU in Trondheim, Norway, and has 15 years of experience developing advanced downhole drilling tools and thermite-based systems for plug and abandonment. Prior to WINS, he held engineering and leadership roles at Schlumberger in the US and UK, and Interwell.

Brett joined WINS in March 2020 as our Director of Marketing and Business Development. He has a BS Engineering degree from Texas A&M University and 35 years of experience in the downhole oil and gas business. Brett spent the last ten years with Saudi Aramco Upstream Research and led many innovative production technology developments. Brett has published numerous scientific articles and papers and is inventor on 43 granted patents.
